If the wait for trying out the new Microsoft Office 2010 is getting too over whelming, then some good news for you, Microsoft has released the official beta of Office 2010 Professional and it’s a fight out there to grab a copy of the software. The download requires you to register with the Microsoft Live/Passport account and then getting the payload of size 684 MB dropped onto your system, the download speed can be agonizingly slow as there are going to be many other Office 2010 enthusiasts like you sharing the server space. After installation you’ll have to enter the serial number provided to you, after entering it you can work on all the application provided in the Office 2010 suite. Un-installation of the previous version of Microsoft Office is recommended to avert any undesirable hang-ups and anomalies.
The Office 2010 is compatible with Windows XP (SP3) and higher. This beta version will expire in October 2010 and is available in English, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. But, boy I tell you using Office 2010 with Windows 7 OS is going to be the icing on the cake.
