If you thought playing video games is a work out for your brain and something that sharpens your reflexes, then add one more to the list. Playing video games can also turn you into a psycho lunatic, who cannot distinguish the real world from the virtual world! A Japanese man exhibited the most hilariously idiotic act of insanity that I’ve heard of, when he traveled all the way to Guam for marrying his virtual girlfriend Nene Anegasaki , a video game character in a dating simulator game Konami’s ‘Love Plus’ for Nintendo DS platform. The couple sure looks cute and they even have the video of the marriage ceremony made to cherish them with their kids (I hope they have figured out a way to spread the seed), if that is an under-statement.
So what lesson have we learned from this development, get your kiddo’s off those gaming controllers! Just kidding guys go on enjoy your games; I don’t think we’ll find a bigger nerd than this Japanese man who has totally lost his plot over the gaming thing. Moreover the law of averages suggests that we are going to have an odd extreme pervert once in a while, so I’m not surprised one bit by his marriage in virtual heaven.
