Google is planning on software that will end your PC boot time affliction. To be very precise, your PC will star-up as-quick-as your television (in under 6-7 seconds). Google gave a sneak peak of its OS (Google Chrome) four months back and it had a similar web browser flavor that was more than apparent. The software will be available sometime in the early half of 2010 on a low end netbook using a memory chip to store data, rather than having snail paced hard drives.

From the time you press boot you want it to be like a TV: You turn it on and you should be on the Web using your applications.

Netbooks running Chrome OS will only be able to run Web applications and the user’s data will automatically be stored on the Web in the so-called cloud of Internet servers.
