Daniel Eindhoven has come up with a unique Tesla Coil design, which primarily has the capacitor bank integrated into the primary coil. This one of a kind design saves space, reduce the wire length needed and gets rid of the parasitic induction of the capacitor bank. Not only that, it helps in calculating the resonance frequency more efficiently. This new configuration of the primary coil for a Double Resonance Solid State Tesla Coil (DRSSTC) has been aptly dubbed as The Eindhoven Primary. Watch the video after the jump.
