There’s a saying that we should not complicate things up if they work fine the simple way, but you know mind always wants the opposite (curiosity probably). This project over at TINYenormous is a result of this same mind curiosity, it’s an email notification system having a LED and an arduino connected to your desktop, with some fancy coding that lights up the LED whenever a new mail is received. Now, why would someone do such a thing when it’s much better the easier way? Well might be that they had nothing else to do! On a serious outlook though, you could probably use it as your master room center piece.
