DIY Radar screen for visualizing sensor data
Gaurav Sood | Nov 17 2009

Having a Radar sensor gives you that uber’-gizmo-freak type feeling and they are no pocket burning devices, anyone can have a wide-angle sonar or Infra Red solutions that can give you the same result. But the ultimate trill is in making one yourself, [LuckyLarry] decided to make one for himself, the old school style. The things that he used to make his rotating radar were pretty basic (if you are into electronic gadgets), like an arduino, servo motor, ultrasonic senor and a open source programming language Processsing (to map out data on the radar’s screen). The DIY looks hassle free and can be emulated if you want to make one for yourself at LuckyLarry.co.uk . Video after the break.
