Autonomous Bassline Generator - produces melody using mathematical algorithm
Gaurav Sood | Dec 19 2009

The Autonomous Bassline Generator (ABG) project has been in the making since September and finally it is complete. [Dann] ventured out on making a melody generating system, controlled by mathematical algorithms using the value of melody control as the seed, rendering it deterministic rather than random. The frequency is modulated by a photocell, and the complete project is built on an ATtiny84 chip. By pointing the photocell at the LEDs, you can generate analogue filter sounds or control them manually by pointing toward the dark/lit-up areas of the room.
